BRING THE
REVOLUTION
TO YOU
From living history programs and military demonstrations to community events, educational presentations, and media productions, the 9th PA brings the
Revolutionary era to life.
IMPRESSIONS
The 9th PA specializes in authentic portrayals of soldiers and civilians from the American Revolutionary War (1775–1783). While our primary interpretation focuses on Pennsylvania Continental soldiers and Light Infantry serving in the Continental Army, our members can also represent a variety of military and civilian impressions appropriate to the period.
Depending on the needs of your event, program, or production, our members may portray:
Continental Army
Soldiers
Uniformed soldiers of the Pennsylvania Line and Light Infantry serving in General George Washington's Continental Army.
Revolutionary
Militia & Civilians
Citizen-soldiers (loyalist & patriot militia), tradespeople, camp followers, and families whose lives were shaped by the American Revolution.
Living History
& Encampments
Military camps, civilian encampments, demonstrations, and educational programs that showcase the daily life, skills, and experiences of Revolutionary soldiers.
Programs, Events & Productions
The 9th PA participates in a wide variety of public, educational, commemorative, and media events throughout the year. Whether you're looking to enhance a community celebration, provide an engaging educational experience, or add historical authenticity to a production, we can tailor our appearance to meet the needs of your event.

BRING THE
REVOLUTION
TO YOUR EVENT
We recommend contacting us at least two months in advance whenever possible. As a volunteer organization, our availability depends on member schedules and previously scheduled events. Please review our Events Calendar before submitting a booking request. We typically cannot accommodate more than one event a day.
Any honoraria or appearance fees help support the unit's operations, including insurance, equipment maintenance, educational materials, and other resources that allow us to continue sharing Revolutionary War history with the public.
