250th Battle of White Plains

The 9th Pennsylvania Lyght Infantry Company joined more than 1,100 reenactors at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Battle of White Plains. Although the original 9th Pennsylvania Regiment had not yet been organized in 1776, our modern unit helped bring the history of Pennsylvania's Continental soldiers to life during this extraordinary weekend of reenactment and remembrance.
